STUDENT SUPPORT TEAM - MISSION STATEMENT

The Student Support Team working with school staff and others will create and maintain a safe school environment for all. Actively promote good attendance and behaviour, working with individuals and through the joint development of programmes within the school community.

Focus on the emotional, behaviour and social needs of the individual student and offer alternative strategies to promote learning and assist with their mainstream education.

Providing a visible and accessible presence within the school. The team will ensure a high level of co-ordination and co-operation in responding to the needs of the individual students.
