'Barclay Sport' has begun in earnest so far:
• Over 60 boys from year 7 - 10 played in our first Saturday morning fixture against Sir Freds on the 6th September. There were some great performances - particularly from the year 8 team, who won 3-2 after going behind twice, and the year 10 team, who drew 1 - 1.
• Our 1st XI played in an excellent match against Lea Valley.
• The year 9 football team won the first round of their cup campaign - winning on penalties.
• A large number of girls have attended clubs since we have started back - 20 at dance club, 30 at netball and 15 at football training.
• Over 40 year 7 boys attended football trials.
• We had our usual packed hall for table tennis club on Friday night.
This is an excellent start. Please look at all of the activities offered and encourage your son/daughter to attend our clubs.
