BARCLAY SCHOOL ECO COUNCIL

The Eco Council has been running for the last two years with Year 12 students meeting with the Site Team and Mr Allerton.

In the first year we achieved a Bronze Award and we are now working towards our Silver Award.

The Eco Council will have a new look from September when it will run side by side with the School Council.  Students from all year groups will represent their houses to establish the priorities for the school to reduce the impact on the environment.

The Eco Council will then work with the Site Team to reduce energy and water consumption, improve the habitat areas around the school and monitor and promote the good work that has been carried out with the recycling of paper, plastic bottles, cans and cardboard.
